Position Title: Vice President, Human Resources

Full Time. Exempt

Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join our senior management team. The VP, Human Resources provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organizations HR operations. The Vice President is responsible for working with senior management in setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, best practices, along with identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

The VP, Human Resources, will also:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term strategic plan and goals; identifies ways to support the organization’s mission through talent management.
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive and recognition programs.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the human resources team; assists and supports all areas of human resources, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
  • Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.

Qualification/ Skills:

Education: Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in the Business or Human Services field, combined with a concentration in Human Resources required, with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive Human Resources management, oversight and leadership. Preferred candidate will also have SHRM – CP, or SCP credentials, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
