School Based Outpatient Therapist

Job Title: School Based Outpatient Therapist

Location: On-site ; Brunswick and Columbus Counties (Must be open to travel between school sites)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 40hrs/wk

JOB POSTING:

Program / Department Name: Brunswick County Child & Adolescent/School Based Health Services

Coastal Horizons Center has an opportunity for a licensed therapist, providing school-based outpatient counseling services to individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders between the ages of 6 years and 24 years of age. Main office is located in Brunswick County, NC, as well as, working at various school sites throughout Columbus County. Specialty services for this position include providing Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, Treatment Plan Development and clinical interventions via individual, family and group therapy. Must be willing to travel between multiple Columbus school sites and have strong communication skills to include building appropriate professional relationships within the school system and with referral sources.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed Therapist or eligible for licensure in North Carolina – (LCSW/LCSW-A, LPA, LCMHC/LCMHCA or LCAS)
