JOB TITLE: Therapist - Substance Use & Mental Health Services

SCHEDULE: Full Time, 40hrs/week

LOCATION: On-site at Rocky Point, NC (4day/week) & Safe Haven-Burgaw (1day/week)

COUNTY: Pender County

JOB POSTING:

Provides independent diagnostic, psycho-social and professional counseling for clients (adults) with complicated substance use, mental health and co-occurring disorders- with an appropriate level of supervision. Emphasis on interpersonal violence, domestic violence and trauma. Ability to work independently off site.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from a four-year college or university in human services or related field and two years of progressive substance use counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Graduation from a Master’s degree program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work
• LCSW preferred, or NCSAPPB Licensure as a LCAS/LCASA; or LPA, or LCMHC/LCMHCA, LCSWA
