Call Center Peer Support Coordinator

Job Title: Call Center Peer Support Coordinator

Location: On-site

County: New Hanover and Brunswick Counties

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full Time

JOB POSTING:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Call Center Peer Support Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing oversight, guidance, and direction to peer support staff responding to incoming calls. This position will oversee daily operations of the call center and respond to incoming calls. This position is responsible for staffing cases and assisting in coordination of care to new or potential clients enrolling in services at Coastal Horizons. This role requires the ability to work autonomously, while still receiving appropriate supervision to ensure best practices and client care. A valid driver’s license and/or government-issued ID is required. Must have reliable transportation.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Maintaining and ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to clients.
  • Provide ongoing clinical support and guidance to Call Center peer support staff as they respond to incoming calls
  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies while fostering a positive and supportive environment for clients.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma or higher, combined with knowledge of wellness and recovery-based concepts.
  • Ability to complete a peer support training program, if needed, to gain certified peer support specialist certification.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
