JOB TITLE: Outpatient Treatment Counselor

SUPERVISED BY: Case Manger Lead / Assistant Program Director

***This position is a non traditional work schedule and may include weekends***

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/ EXPERIENTAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have high school diploma, equivalent, or higher combined with knowledge of wellness and recovery based concepts

• Registration with NCSAPPB as CDAC, LCAS, or equivalent preferred

• One year or more of experience working with substance use disorder patients preferred

• One year or more of experience working within medication assisted treatment programs preferred

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Supports Opioid Treatment Program in managing daily responsibilities of patients receiving medication assisted treatment. This position will be responsible for assisting in coordination to clinical care and medical team, maintaining ethical documentation of patient interaction, providing support to patients, reviewing treatment plans, and facilitating group therapy for patients receiving medication assisted treatment. Provides therapy if appropriately credentialed under necessary supervision. Early morning hours are required.
